I have a friend who is a manager at Gamestop, and the November date is simply what they decided to put into the computer so they could sell pre-orders. Nothing more.

When Gamestop (or any other online game store) puts a game into their system, they probably have to define a date.
It might be a technical requirement.
It's more likely intended to get people excited and to place pre-orders way too early.

This comes up almost every week over at GWG forums, and the answer is always the same:

"No official release date has been announced."

And until I see either NCSoft or ArenaNet say, "Guild Wars 2 will be released on [date]," then every single site out there is simply making guesses.

This list is lil scarry, don't you think? Few things that were unique in GW would get removed by some borring WoW system crap.

What was unique in GW? You haven't had to spend hours till you got lvl 20. Sure you still got no idea how to play good, but your char was ready so far. I don't want to spend hours on some borring pve map, killing monsters for levels or rank or whatever. I played just pvp the last year, and I got a pve char from lvl 1 to pvp ready in just some days.

The summoner idea isn't that stupid. Actually I like it in some ways. I would like a class that could summon the race specific monsters. But thats neether realistic for pve nor for pvp. In pvp they would probably be too strong and I think anyway this monsters will be somekind of pve skill.

Is it aprooved, that there will be expansions in GW2 like in GW?

Take away the mesmer would be fatal, because it's the favorite class of many good players.

Given GW1's combat system melee combat doesn't get more complex at all with 3 axis. Currently you click or tab to a target, press space, and your toon autopaths to it's target. Given this it really doesn't mater if you're moving in 3D or on a plane.

Dodgeball during dragonfest??? HA! Let's get ready for Blitzball!
